In my recent endeavor of planning a bridal shower, I had much help from my good friend Marianne. Marianne usually helps me with most anything, and I mean any crazy idea that I may happen to come up with. I could not have pulled off the shower without her. In fact, we had the bridal shower at her house, and we spent the entire day before the shower making the decorations, and food. It was intense, and I appreciated her help so much.
So to show her how grateful I am, I made a thank you card for her.
It should be no surprise to you all, that once again, I began this card with a free printable. This one is from Pumpkins and Posies, such a fun place to visit.
I chose the blue card and decided to add some burlap. I wanted to use the same elements from the bridal shower on the card. Hey, I couldn't let her forget about all the burlap we had cut. :-) So I cut out the gray strip from around the sentiment.
Once cut, I embellished around the outside edge of my sentiment using Martha Stewart fine glitter. I then glued a strip of burlap behind the sentiment and anchored the whole card to another piece of cardstock. Then just embellish as desired.
As you can see, it's so easy to dress up free printables. I think I'm hooked. How do you use free printables?
What types of free printables would you like to see more of? Just leave me a comment, and let me know.
Thanks for stopping by,
