Psalm 121:1-2 Word Art Wednesday Card

Hi, Y'all!
Welcome back to another Word Art Wednesday!  Our verse for this week is Psalm 121:1-2.
I had some fun this week trying my hand at stamping.
You've probably noticed from the cards I share here, that I don't do much stamping.  I'm always admiring other creatives stamped cards and all the pretty ways that they come up with to use stamps/ink.  So I decided to take the plunge and give it a try on my Word Art Wednesday card for this week.

I can't say that this is my favorite card, but overall not too bad for my first stamped card.  ;) I had a lot of fun making this card and I would really like to get better at stamping and continue to learn new techniques.  I encourage you to also step out of your crafty comfort zone this year and try something new.

First Word Art Wednesday Card of 2017

I'm so excited to be back sharing my first card of 2017!  Literally, I made this card on Jan. 3rd! How awesome is that?  haha!
No, really, I'm just so glad to be back.  Back to blogging, back to card making, back to being a full-time mom and wife.
While I'm so appreciative of all that I learned while working for a local photography company, I'm glad to be finished working for them, at least for now.  I realized how much I love being a stay at home mom and running my household.
I also missed running my own little side business.  Whether blogging, creating cards to sell, or shooting my own photography sessions.  I missed all of it.  So, believe me when I say that I'm glad to be back, and even more happy to be back with a Word Art Wednesday card.   How fitting that a Word Art Wednesday card should be my first card of 2017.

Ps. 107:2,  such simple and yet profound verse.  As I think on this verse I'm reminded of what the goal of my life is to be, what the goal of this year should be, to bring honor and glory to my Saviour.  What better way to do that, than to tell of how He redeemed me!

"Redeemed, Redeemed, Redeemed by the blood of the lamb"!
Yes, I am redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus and because of that I am His!
And you can be too!
Jesus died for all who would put their complete trust in Him alone.  Not in their good works, but in Him alone.  Trusting that it is He who has redeemed you from the power of your sin, and it's wages.
I will say so, Yes, I am redeemed by Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross.  I can not redeem myself, Jesus did it all for me.  My sin debt has been paid!  Yes, I will say so...
