Patriotic Wall Hanging For Word Art Wednesday #236-237

Hi There,
Whew!  I can't believe I haven't blogged in 2 weeks!  Life has been C R A Z Y busy!  I've just returned from Bible Camp, which just let me say was such a blessing to be a part of.  Every year I get the privilege of watching my Almighty God move and work in ways that I would have never expected!  And now that I'm back the summer activities are in full swing.  Speaking of summer activities, The 4th of July is just around the corner.  I'm a very patriotic person and I'm so thankful to God for the freedoms we have in this country and for all those who've been willing to give their lives to defend those freedoms. With that being said, let me show you my latest Word Art Wednesday design.

I was inspired by this week's Word Art to create something with a patriotic feel.  I chose to use papers from Websters Pages, Yacht Club line.  It's a pretty old line, but it worked out perfectly for what I had in mind with this verse.
Just as I'm thankful for the freedoms I enjoy as a U.S. citizen,  I'm even more thankful for the freedom I have in Christ, my redeemer, and friend.
This verse is a perfect reminder of  what Jesus has done for me.  He gave His life on Calvary to set me free!  Free from the bondage of sin, free from the law, and free to live a new life in Him!  How could I do anything less than to praise Him all my days?!
And the best part is this freedom, found only in Christ, He freely offers to anyone who would put their complete trust in Him.
The Bible calls us to repent  and believe.  This simple means to turn away from your sin and turn to the one who died for you, Jesus, who rose again on the third day and is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for His people.
That's it, no works, no way to earn God's favor.  Christ has paid it all and offers this gift to anyone who would believe. That's what the Bible calls grace, the unmerited favor of God.
I pray that anyone reading this today who does not know Christ as their saviour would call out to Him today!  You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain by doing so.

As always I encourage you to participate in this week's Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  The challenge is anything goes and the word art is free to use.

Word Art Wednesday #234-235 Proverbs 16:9

Hi There,
As I'm sure you know, Father's Day is quickly approaching.  June 19th to be exact.  So, I decided that I would  make my Word Art Wednesday card design a little more manly, as I would like to give this card to my husband for Father's day.  The verse chosen for this week fit my manly theme perfectly. :)
The verse for this challenge comes from Proverbs 16:9, here is what I came up with.

I think this verse is so fitting for Father's Day.  Just a gentle reminder that God is sovereign,  He is the one in control.  I'm so glad for that!  What an encouragement to my husband to trust The Lord to direct his steps as he leads our family.

I encourage you to play along in the Word Art Wednesday Challenge.  You are not required to use the word art, but it is always free to download if you choose to use it.  We have awesome sponsors and the challenge is always "anything goes".  I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
Thank you for stopping by today,

"Love is in the Air" Wedding Card

Wedding season is definitely in full swing!  Summer weddings are just so romantic, gorgeous, and make for great card making inspiration. :)  So many design ideas can be had from wedding decor, themes, and colors.  I recently received a request for a wedding card.  The wedding colors were pink and navy, the theme was vintage romantic.  Now, how could I not run with that inspiration?!
Here's what I came up with:

Now, I know that most wedding cards out there are quite different from mine.  I did a quick search on Pinterest and came up with mostly "white" cards.  Hmmm, not exactly what I did, but I think it works.

I just love weddings, it doesn't seem to matter how many I attend, I cry every time.
Thank you for stopping by today, and for leaving me such sweet, encouraging comments.

Nautical Themed Card

Hello!
I'm stopping in real quick to share a fun Nautical themed card.  I have to tell you that summer is my favorite season, and the beach is my favorite place to be.  I just recently purchased some fun nautical embellishments and in my excitement for beach days, I made some cards.  Here is my most recent nautical themed card.

I went for the whitewashed wood look, and classic nautical colors.
Just a very simple card. :)

I used supplies from Paper House, MME, Websters Pages, and Recollections.
Thank you all for stopping by today, may you remember to smile and be thankful for even the smallest rays of sunshine.
